Eager: It's time. I have the power. I believe in myself.
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn’t serve the world. There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. As we’re liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” Marianne Williamson 1977
I believe for most humans on earth, actions are defined by the fear of inadequacy. Are you smart? Are you popular? Are you underweight? Overweight? Rich? Poor? If none of the above, are we thus inadequate? What is adequate? It’s time the fortress of misconceptions and preconceptions be torn down. We are born wholesome, worthy, bright, intelligent, and filled with infinite abundance. It may have taken just about 30 years, but I consider myself a lucky one, I can now choose to live the rest of my years realizing the truth, that I am powerful beyond measure, as is everyone.
It’s time I truly rise, it’s time I truly shine, it’s time I step out from within my shadow and live within my divine form. I believe that I am capable, I know that I am capable, and when I believe anything less, I hope to honour that emotion and let it go, for it doesn’t serve me any longer. I choose to live a manifested destiny, a destiny curated by dreams, and a life lived in presence and faith.
I say that I am eager, but words can’t do this hunger justice. I can wait no longer, I want nothing more, it’s time I embrace all that I am and yell it from the rooftops. I seek to live consistently in my stretch zone, striving for a true purpose, playing in a true passion, and committing to that in which I believe is my true calling.
What comes next is the dance. The flow within a rhythm, and the balance within a storm. All it takes is one step at a time, a consistent momentum towards my destination. I believe this will be the ultimate mountain, a never-ending climb, but if I love each moment, cherish the lows and highs, then I’m not actually climbing, I’m simply enjoying the ride.
